Youngstown’s FR Ground Glove – BEEF is a new spin on our # 1 selling design. We use our proven 3-dimensional and pre-curved glove pattern but this time we produce it with a water-resistant cow grain leather. This beefier leather wears like a catcher’s mitt but still offers high levels of dexterity and comfort. We tanned the leather for water resistance to better withstand work in wet conditions. Like our other Kevlar® lined work gloves we bonded the Kevlar® to the leather rather than using a sewn in liner. This method of manufacturing takes much more time but the great advantage is increased dexterity without any sliding, bunching or that annoying 2 gloves in 1 feel with a sewn in liner. If your climate is a bit more wet or you are looking for a touch more ruggedness, try the FR Ground Glove – BEEF.
